A 10-day campaign aimed at breaking the taboo around mental wellbeing will start in Ghent on 1 October.
Under the slogan ‘Put it on the table when things aren’t going well,’ the city hopes to encourage residents to be honest about their struggles and avoid judging others who are having a hard time.
The ’10 Days of Resilience’ campaign features a comprehensive programme of activities. These include information sessions, walks, and lectures, as well as unique activities such as ‘chat bingo’ tables and a course on ‘learning to sleep better.’
Some activities are tailored to specific groups, such as a course for shy individuals and a session to better understand the mental challenges faced by refugees.
The ’10 Days of Resilience’ campaign originated in Ghent and is celebrating its tenth edition this year, from 1 to 10 October. The full programme is available on Ghent city’s website.
