Global collaboration brings eco-friendly fashion solutions to European markets

Global fashion retailer SHEIN has unveiled a new fashion line in collaboration with Brazilian pop sensation Anitta, furthering its push towards sustainable fashion.

The collection, named evoluSHEIN X Anitta, features 75 stylish pieces and is part of SHEIN’s wider evoluSHEIN by Design initiative, aimed at promoting sustainability and inclusivity. With this latest launch, SHEIN is positioning itself to appeal to eco-conscious shoppers, especially in Europe, where consumer demand for responsible fashion is growing rapidly.

For the European market, and particularly in Belgium, where sustainable fashion consumption is gaining momentum, this collection arrives at a critical moment.

European Union regulations and consumer pressure are increasingly holding fashion brands accountable for their environmental impact, with sustainability becoming a top priority. SHEIN’s efforts to use next-generation viscose in 22 of its styles, derived from 50% recycled cotton scraps, and the use of deadstock fabrics through a partnership with circular economy leader Queen of Raw, may strike a chord with eco-minded shoppers in Europe.

International team of designers collaborate

The collection, co-designed by Anitta and eight independent designers from around the world, includes vibrant dresses, bodysuits, skirts, and more. Notably, Spanish designer Victor Manuel Fernández Fuentes is among the collaborators, infusing the collection with a European design perspective. The incorporation of diverse design talents from the UK, US, Mexico, and Brazil adds a global dimension, making the collection appealing to an international audience.

As part of the launch, SHEIN is also making strides in social responsibility. A portion of the proceeds will support Central Única Das Favelas (CUFA), a non-profit dedicated to empowering underprivileged communities in Brazil.

This partnership reflects the company’s attempt to merge fashion with purpose—a trend that resonates with socially aware European consumers, who often look for brands that prioritize ethical and charitable practices.

In terms of accessibility, SHEIN continues to offer inclusive sizing, with all pieces available in extended sizes, making the collection appealing to a wide range of body types. For shoppers in Belgium, where size inclusivity is often an issue in mainstream fashion, this collection offers a refreshing alternative.

The evoluSHEIN X Anitta collection is now available globally on SHEIN.com, with many pieces highlighting the blend of bold patterns and sleek silhouettes that define Anitta’s iconic style.

As sustainability becomes an increasingly important criterion for fashion choices across Europe, this collaboration could mark a significant step for SHEIN in appealing to a more eco-conscious, style-savvy audience.
