Sunday’s weather will start with periods of rain or showers and gradually become dry from the northeast during the day, according to forecasts by the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).

Temperatures will range between 3°C and 9°C. The coast will experience strong winds initially, with morning gusts reaching up to 80 km/h.

Rain and showers are expected initially, with possible sleet in the Ardennes highlands. The weather will quickly become mostly dry in the northeast, spreading to other regions as the day progresses. Although many areas will remain very cloudy, local clear spells may appear later in the day. Maximum temperatures will vary from 3°C to 4°C in the High Fens to 8°C to 9°C at the coast.

The wind will be generally moderate, coming from the north to northeast. Strong winds are expected at the coast in the morning, with gusts up to 80 km/h, prompting a yellow warning from the RMI. In the afternoon, gusts will reduce to around 50 km/h. In the east, the wind will be locally light and variable in the morning.
