After lookalike contests for actors Timothée Chalamet in New York and Harry Styles in London, the Chez Ginette nightclub in Brussels' city centre is now also organising one for Belgian singer Angèle.
In late October, the lookalike competitions went viral after several flyers for one of Timothée Chalamet surfaced in New York. The competition took place in Washington Square Park and drew a huge crowd.
The contest went viral on social media, partly because the actor himself unexpectedly showed up as well.
This inspired several other contests, including the search for Paul Mescal's double in Dublin, Harry Styles in London and Jeremy Allen White's lookalike in Chicago.
Now, the trend is making its way to Belgium: Chez Ginette will go in search of Angèle's long-lost twin on Friday 13 December. The winner will get free entry to the nightclub for a year.
Whether Angèle herself will show up remains to be seen. She did share a reel from Grazia magazine announcing the contest via her Instagram, so who knows.
