National highway 684 was completely closed in Amay, Liège Province, due to a traffic accident on Thursday evening, according to the Hesbaye Meuse Condroz emergency services and the federal police.
Firefighters from the zone were called out at around 6.40 p.m. on Thursday evening to a major road accident on the N684, near Paix-Dieu, in Amay. The accident occurred at Kilometre 2.4, at the roundabout located at the junction with the N631.
According to the emergency services, at least one person was trapped in their vehicle. The state of health of any injured persons was not immediately known.
National Road 684, which links Tihange to Villers-le-Bouillet, is completely closed to traffic. Diversions have been put in place.
