The future United States President Donald Trump has promised that he will sign a record number of executive orders immediately after his inauguration on Monday in Washington DC, he said this in an interview with NBC News on Saturday.
Trump cannot yet say exactly how many executive orders are involved. When asked whether there would be more than 100, he replied that the number would be "at least in that category."
With such an executive order, the President can use the resources of the federal government. An executive order is used by the President to promote his policy.
Also on the presidential agenda in the first week are deportations of irregular migrants, a solution to the ban on the video app TikTok and a visit to Los Angeles, which has been hit by forest fires.
"I actually wanted to go yesterday, but I thought it would be better to go as president. That is a little more appropriate, I guess," said Trump.
