A protest against the agenda of the incoming US President Donald Trump will be held in front of the United States Embassy in Brussels at 18:30 on Monday.
The Federation of Francophone Students (FEF), the CSC Youth, and the FGTB Youth have announced their participation in the protest.
Participating organisations, including trade unions, social movements, and environmental, feminist, and anti-racist activists, describe Trump's agenda as a "far-right programme serving American billionaires."
They warn that it will have "considerable consequences" for both American workers and the global population. The groups also condemn the interference of Donald Trump and Elon Musk in European politics.
"By gathering so many people here, we express our opposition to a ruling elite and a system that enriches billionaires while driving millions into precariousness," the organisations state.
They emphasise their commitment to social justice, climate action, and global solidarity.
This mobilisation will have an international dimension, with hundreds of thousands of people expected to protest worldwide.
