The British group Duran Duran, an institution of British New Wave, will return to Belgium on 9 June at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp.
The band, which launched the Future Past tour in 2023 named after their 15th album, has not performed in a Belgian venue since 2012.
The Fab Five are now four since 2006, but Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, Roger Taylor, and John Taylor continue to enthral audiences with their many New Wave and synthpop hits from the ’80s and ’90s such as The Reflex, Save a Prayer, Ordinary World, and Out of My Mind.
Over their forty-plus-year career, the Birmingham-based group has released 16 studio albums, with their latest, Danse Macabre, coming out for Halloween in 2023.
Some of their songs have left a mark on cinema history, like A View to a Kill, the theme song for the James Bond film of the same name, and Notorious, featured in Donnie Darko.
Duran Duran, inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, will showcase their full repertoire on 9 June at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, marking their first concert in Belgium since 2023 and the first indoor performance since 2012.
Tickets for this unique concert in Belgium will go on sale on 24 January at 10:00.
