The driver of a car with Belgian number plates who hit a group of people in Eindhoven, Netherlands, on Wednesday afternoon is a 25-year-old man from Belgium.
The suspect turned himself in to the police on Thursday afternoon and is currently in custody, the Dutch police reported on Friday.
After the incident, police arrested two other suspects at the scene. One is suspected of making threats, while the other was detained for interfering with the arrest.
Two people were injured in the incident, and their condition is currently unknown. The collision is believed to have followed a conflict, which the police are still investigating.
