Two houses were targeted by gunfire in Westerlo (Antwerp province) on Friday night.
A 39-year-old suspect was arrested shortly after in the neighbourhood and will be presented to an investigating judge on Saturday, according to the Antwerp Public Prosecutor's Office.
Neighbours reported hearing gunshots during the night. Bullet impacts were later found on one house, and then on another property in a different part of the town.
The arrested suspect's hearing will determine whether he is connected to the two targeted houses and his possible motive.
