The British trade union Unite will stage a protest in Brussels on Tuesday against the French waste management and water treatment company Veolia, Unite announced on Monday.
Unite criticises Veolia for refusing to recognise the union at its facility in Sheffield, England.
To increase pressure on Veolia and its shareholders, including Amundi, Caisse des Dépôts, and Crédit Agricole, Unite is organising protests in various European cities this week.
A demonstration was already held in Paris on Monday, and the protest in Brussels will take place on Tuesday.
Further protests are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday in Frankfurt, Germany, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
