A shooting at a café in Toronto has left twelve people injured, according to the Toronto police message on X social media platform.
The incident occurred on Friday evening around 22:40 local time in the Scarborough district. Shortly after midnight, the police reported 12 victims.
“Six of the victims have gunshot wounds,” said the police on Saturday morning during a press conference. “There were no fatalities, and the injuries are not life-threatening. The victims are between the ages of 20 and mid-50s.”
The police have not yet apprehended the suspects. They are searching for three men, utilising all available resources to locate and arrest them. Earlier in the morning, a suspect wearing a black balaclava was reported to have fled in a car.
