The fourth edition of the Streat Fest, celebrating reinvented street food, will take place from Friday, 16 May to Sunday, 18 May at Tour & Taxis in Brussels.
Now condensed into three days instead of four, this culinary and musical event will feature around 75 chefs and highlight women on its opening day.
Pascal Devalkeneer (“Le chalet de la forêt”), Nicolas Decloedt (“Humus x Hortense”), and private chef Julien Lapraille are confirmed participants, with this edition placing more emphasis on street food rather than street art, as in its inaugural event in 2022.
The festival will continue to offer over 150 participatory workshops and masterclasses, including cooking sessions, oenology and zythology lectures, culinary tips, and food and beverage pairing techniques.

This year, the festival will focus on women, with Friday being a 100% female day called “StrEat Cheffes.” Participants will include Alice Pollet (Brut), Lyla Bangels (Titulus), Joëlle Kapinga (Africalicious), Charlotte Degive (Archie), cheesemakers Lara and Hélène Milan (Sœurs), and pastry chefs Anaïs Gaudemer (Cokoa) and Martha Meeze (Chez Martha).
The day will feature a confrontation between two brigades led by starred female chefs and composed of candidates from the Be Cheffe competition by the Brussels Horeca Federation, as well as a pastry workshop led by Emily Misson. There will also be sessions addressing the challenges women face in the culinary industry.
The festival’s goal remains unchanged: to make any cuisine — whether starred, trendy, gastronomic, or modern — accessible to all food lovers.
