German car manufacturer Audi has appointed JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) as its broker to attract potential investors for the redevelopment of its site in Forest, Audi Brussels announced on Wednesday.
It aims to expand the list of interested parties already contacted by Audi and the government.
A task force comprising representatives from Audi and government authorities met for a second time on 25 April at the Audi Brussels site. The goal of the meeting was to discuss mutual approaches and visions for the site to better prepare its positioning in the market, explained Peter D’hoore, spokesperson for the Brussels site.
The task force is responsible for defining general conditions for the site's future use, evaluating various concepts from interested parties, and selecting a series of concepts. The final decision will be made by Audi.
The entire process, from reaching out to interested parties to signing the contract, will take several months and will partially depend on the "level of market interest." As soon as the plans are sufficiently developed, we will provide further information, D'hoore assured.
