US national security adviser Mike Waltz is resigning, according to US news channel CBS and press agency Reuters, citing sources within the White House.
Waltz came under fire in late March after accidentally adding the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic magazine, Jeffrey Goldberg, to a Signal group discussing plans to bomb the Houthis in Yemen.
