UAE sees record May temperature of 51.6°C

On Friday, the United Arab Emirates experienced its highest temperature ever recorded in May, reaching 51.6°C, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The NCM reported that Sweihan in Al Ain registered the peak temperature of 51.6°C at 13:45 local time. This breaks the previous record of 50.4°C set the day before in the Abu Dhabi region.
