Showers are expected this morning before more significant rain arrives in the afternoon and evening, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute’s Tuesday weather forecast.
This morning, May 27th, the sky will largely be overcast with periods of light rain or drizzle. In the afternoon, conditions will temporarily improve from the west with brief sunny spells, but a new, active rainy area will follow. Temperatures will range from 14 degrees in the Ardennes to 20 degrees in central regions. The south-westerly wind will be moderate to strong, and at the coast, it will become strong towards the evening, with gusts reaching 50 to 60 km/h.
Tonight will remain very cloudy with ongoing rain or showers. Temperatures will drop to between 11 and 15 degrees.
On Wednesday, the weather will be variable with possible thunderstorms and high temperatures between 15 and 19 degrees.
Thursday’s forecast indicates overcast skies again and a chance of light rain. Temperatures are expected to range from 15 to 20 degrees.
