The Belgian pharmacy chain Medi-Market is expanding into the Netherlands and Spain, as announced in a company press release.
Founded in 2014, Medi-Market is already operating in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Italy.
The company opened its first store in the Netherlands on 21 May, located in a shopping centre in Maastricht.
On 29 May, a new branch will open in Madrid. There are plans to open two more stores in the Netherlands and four in Spain by the end of the year.
The expansion aligns with Medi-Market’s strategy to increase its presence across Europe.
The new markets "display dynamic growth in the sectors of well-being, natural products, and accessible healthcare," according to the company.
