Dubbed as a "wolf in sheep's clothing", Belgian police added 35-year old Andy de Wolf to Belgium's Most Wanted list on Tuesday, who was recently convicted for rape, including of his pregnant partner.
Police are now asking members of the public to report any information on his possible whereabouts. Andy De Wolf was sentenced in Antwerp to 8 years in prison for acts of violence and indecency against a minor and several other adult victims on 7 April.
He was found guilty of psychological, physical, and sexual abuse against several victims, with the fugitive is actively being sought by the Federal Police's Fugitive Active Search Team (FAST).
By adding his name to this list, the Federal Police and the Antwerp Public Prosecutor's Office hope to obtain more information that will enable them to locate him.
Forced sex with uncle
De Wolf's former partner had gone to the police in 2021 to report her boyfriend's abuse. The woman explained that she was constantly monitored, humiliated and beaten during her three-year relationship. Even when she was pregnant, she was beaten, Flemish media HLN and Het Nieuwsblad. report.
The woman stated that De Wolf was dominant and isolated her from friends and family. He even beat her when she was heavily pregnant, and forced her to have sex with other men. One of those men was his uncle (51), who was also brought to trial. The uncle confessed and was sentenced to 30 months in prison with probation.

During their investigation, the investigators also decided to question other ex-partners of De Wolf. Seven of them said that there was also abuse, including rape, in their relationship, with the defendant choosing women with low self-esteem for manipulation. This led the Public Prosecution Service to therefore describe De Wolf as "a wolf in sheepskin"
The man was convicted, with the court also having ordered his immediate arrest in view of the risk of reoffending and being a flight risk. However, after his conviction, the man disappeared without trace.
He had already committed new offences when on bail, and had also gone into hiding when the police sought to question him again.
Police describe Andy De Wolf as very tall and thin. He has two tattoos on his right forearm: one with the words 'Forever Strong' and another depicting clasped hands surrounded by a rosary. Below his left ear, he has a tattoo of a ribbon and what appears to be a horse.
