Inflation in Belgium fell for the fourth consecutive month in May, reaching 2.01%, down from 2.55% in April, the Belgian statistics office, Statbel, reported on Wednesday.
In March, the inflation rate had already dropped below 3% for the first time since August 2024.
Based on the health index, inflation also decreased, falling from 3% to 2.37%.
In May, the smoothed health index stood at 132.55 points.
