Saturday is forecast to be cloudy and humid with temperatures reaching up to 27°C, with the likelihood of thunderstorms increasing by the afternoon.

The Royal Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow weather warning for the entire region of Wallonia and the Flemish provinces of Limburg and Flemish Brabant. Heavy downpours could occur locally, accompanied by gusty winds and possibly hail.

On Saturday night into Sunday, the thunderstorms will move towards Germany, although the morning will remain very cloudy with a chance of showers in the south of the country. Elsewhere, light rain or drizzle is expected.

During Sunday afternoon, conditions will improve with clear skies developing from the northwest as temperatures range from 18 to 19°C at the coast to 21°C in central areas.

The new week will start off with considerable cloud cover, and Monday will still see a chance of showers and isolated thunder. The weather might remain dry at sea and in the far southeast.

Most areas will eventually see sunny spells, with temperatures reaching 15 to 16°C at the coast and up to 20°C in the centre.

Tuesday will begin sunny, but clouds will increase from the west. It is expected to stay mostly dry, though light rain may occur in the west by the end of the day.

The rest of the week will be a mix of clouds with occasional rain or showers, as maximum temperatures fluctuate between 13 and 19°C from Wednesday onwards.
