A man was seriously injured by gunfire overnight from Saturday to Sunday in the Deurne district of Antwerp, the local police reported.
The incident occurred around at night around 3:30 in a café on Ter Rivierenlaan. The exact circumstances are under investigation. The police arrived quickly and arrested a 56-year-old man.
The victim, aged 45, was taken to hospital in critical condition. The forensic laboratory also attended the scene.
