A road accident involving two vehicles in Genk, Limburg, resulted in injuries to several minors on Sunday morning, with some possibly behind the wheel.
The collision occurred around 5:00 on the Eastern Ring Road in Genk. One car ended up on its roof, while the other came to rest on its side.
The East Limburg fire brigade was called to extricate the occupants from the wreckage. Emergency services transported four to five youths with minor injuries to the hospital.
Local police from the Carma zone, including Genk, As, Oudsbergen, Zutendaal, Houthalen-Helchteren, Bree, Bocholt, and Kinrooi, conducted the investigation. If minors were driving, they likely did not possess valid licences, according to police.
