Orange is striving to become the leading provider in Belgium’s B2B market by enhancing its sales strategy and expanding its offerings in connectivity, cloud services, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity through collaboration among its subsidiaries.
By leveraging the expertise of Orange Belgium, Orange Business, Orange Business Digital Services, and Orange Cyberdefense, the company aims to create a robust synergy and a top-tier offering in the high-end Belgian market. According to Orange, no other telecom operator in Belgium can match this comprehensive suite of solutions for SMEs, multinational companies, and public organisations.
With a unified approach featuring cutting-edge products and services, Orange seeks to capture the B2B market in Belgium, where it currently holds approximately 20% market share and generates consolidated revenue of around €575 million from 800 employees, compared to the market leader Proximus NXT’s 60% share.
“Our ambition is comprehensive, targeting every segment from solo entrepreneurs to large international corporations based in Belgium, including SMEs,” stated Xavier Pichon, CEO of Orange Belgium. “We intend to claim the position that Proximus NXT holds today.”
Orange Belgium will offer multi-gigabit networks and value-added services that ensure superior connectivity. Orange Business will focus on accelerating digital transformation and cloud infrastructure expertise, while Orange Business Digital Services will innovate in data and AI, supported by 450 data specialists.
Through a partnership with Orange Cyberdefense, the leading cybersecurity service provider in Belgium, Orange Business will offer services via a Belgium-based Security Operation Center (SOC). The aim is to provide strong defence against the increasing number and complexity of threats through global monitoring and local management, according to the company.
In the coming weeks, six industry-leading products will be available to clients, including a sovereign cloud solution with data hosted within the EU and cybersecurity threat detection, monitoring, and management enhanced by global intelligence and expert assistance. Additional offerings include a secure and sovereign AI platform for “intelligent” business collaboration and an “integrated and transparent” client communication platform enriched with AI-driven insights.
