An extraordinary meeting will be held on Monday at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) following Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, diplomats informed AFP.
The meeting, requested by Iran, is scheduled for 08:00 GMT (10:00 local time in Vienna) at the organisation’s headquarters.
Diplomatic sources announced this during the IAEA Board of Governors meeting on Friday.
The strikes have occurred amid escalating pressure on Iran, which is suspected by Western countries and Israel of seeking to develop nuclear weapons, a claim that Tehran denies.
