A Ferrari overturned on the Grote Baan in Houthalen-Helchteren, Limburg, at around 8:00 in the morning on Sunday for reasons that remain unknown.
The driver fled the scene, according to the Carma police zone. No other vehicle was involved in the incident, initial police findings indicate.
Authorities are still working to determine why the driver lost control of the sports car.
A search operation, including the use of a drone, has been launched to locate the driver. However, the suspect has not yet been found.
