1,021,508 Belgians have filed their taxes online already, just one month before the deadline to do so.
Belgian citizens have until 15 July 2025 to file their taxes via the online platform MyMinfin, the Finance Ministry reminded the public on Monday.
Last year, the administration received a record two million online declarations, marking a 25% increase over five years.
The Finance Ministry highlights several benefits of online submission, such as pre-filled forms, clear instructions, error messages for inconsistencies and environmental advantages. They estimate saving approximately 7.5 million sheets of paper via the online process.
While the deadline for online submission is 15 July, paper declarations must be sent no later than 30 June.
