The foreign ministers of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom are set to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Friday, according to anonymous diplomatic sources cited by news agencies dpa and Reuters.

French President Emmanuel Macron previously announced France’s intention to initiate steps towards a negotiated solution for the conflict between Iran and Israel in the coming days.

The meeting of the foreign ministers is expected to take place in Geneva, Switzerland.

In the meantime, tensions between Iran and Israel persist, with hostilities continuing.

However, it remains unclear whether the United States will join the Israeli assault on Iran.
