Espace Vanderborght in Brussels will host the 'CNN199: 35 Years of Hip-Hop Activism' exhibition from 16 October to 16 November 2025.

The event will highlight the career of the pioneering Brussels-based graffiti collective, CNN199.

Through monumental murals, canvas artworks, and digital installations, the exhibition will trace the evolution of graffiti from its subversive origins to its current recognition in contemporary art.

A host of artists, including Amine Brush, HMI, and Choc, will showcase unique creations designed specifically for this event.

The programme will also feature performances, workshops, and conferences.

Following this retrospective, a publication will be released in 2026, delving into the collective’s history through a collection of testimonies, portraits, and visual archives.
