A man was seriously injured in a stabbing incident on Quai au Foin in Brussels on Wednesday night, according to the Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The details of the incident remain unclear. Laura Demullier, spokesperson for the Prosecutor’s Office, stated that police were called to the scene for a severely injured person on Quai au Foin.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but is now out of danger.
Initial reports suggest that the victim suffered knife wounds.
The prosecutor’s office dispatched the federal judicial police laboratory and a forensic doctor to the scene. No suspects have been apprehended yet.
