A 27-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound on the Quay de l’Industrie in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean between Thursday night and early Friday morning.
The incident occurred around midnight, and the victim was taken to hospital where it has been confirmed that he is not in a critical condition.
A forensic doctor, the Federal Judicial Police’s laboratory, and a ballistics expert have been called in to assist with the investigation.
No suspects have been identified at this stage.
The inquiry is ongoing, and the prosecutor’s office has stated that no further comments will be made at this time.
