A body was discovered on Saturday evening in a tram passageway on Engelandstraat, Sint-Gillis, as reported by the Brussels fire brigade.
Attempts were made to resuscitate the individual, but they were unsuccessful. Brussels-South police describe the incident as a “natural death,” possibly due to an overdose.
The exact circumstances surrounding the death are still under investigation.
