The 14th edition of the Ronquières Festival will kick off at 2 p.m. on Friday at the base of the Ronquières Inclined Plane, and conclude on Sunday, 3 August, with an additional day on Tuesday, 5 August, to host U.S. rapper Will Smith.
The first festival-goers set up their tents at the campsite at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Friday’s lineup includes Clara Luciani, Jean-Louis Aubert, Mosimann, and Thomas Dutronc.
On Saturday, performers will include Julien Doré, Mustii, and Philippe Catherine, while Laurent Garnier and Puggy are set to perform on the final day.
Will Smith will rejuvenate the festival site with a special performance on his exclusive Belgian tour date on Tuesday 5 August.
In terms of mobility, spaces have been redesigned to offer nearby parking, free shuttles from overflow car parks and the train station, and improved access for cyclists, according to organisers.
Last year, the Ronquières Festival welcomed 67,000 attendees.
