A man was reportedly killed in a stabbing on Sunday afternoon at the Marsupilami roundabout on the outskirts of Charleroi city centre.
According to the Charleroi Public Prosecutor's Office, the man, who has not yet been identified, was involved in a fight with another person, whose identity is also unknown.
The man is believed to have died from a wound caused by a sharp object to the femoral artery.
A forensic team and the Public Prosecutor's Office arrived at the scene on Sunday. The Charleroi federal judicial police are leading the investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident.
