Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will continue collaborating with Netflix on various projects, but under a more modest contract, the streaming service announced on Monday.

The couple originally signed an exclusive deal with Netflix in 2020. Under the modified arrangement, Netflix now has the right of first refusal on any project before it can be pitched to its competitors.

Financial details of the new contract have not been disclosed, but it is said to be less lucrative for the couple while offering them greater creative flexibility.

Netflix’s Head of Content, Bela Bajaria, described the pair as “influential voices whose stories resonate with audiences worldwide.”

Meghan Markle expressed her pride in extending their partnership with Netflix.

In 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed their first deal with Netflix, reportedly worth $100 million, although this figure was never confirmed.

They created the documentary series 'Harry & Meghan,' which explored their break with the British royal family. It was a major success, garnering 23 million views just four days after its release. Another project was the cooking show 'With Love, Meghan.'
