The XRDS - Crossroads Festival electronic music festival will open on Friday at the Parc des Étangs in Anderlecht, under the E19 viaducts.

Organised by Fuse, the famous Brussels techno club, the festival will welcome more than fifty established and emerging artists from Belgium and abroad on three stages.

Several DJ collaborations are on the programme, including DJ Nobu and GiGI FM, as well as Kode9 and Timp Reaper.

On Friday, Planetary Assault System will play an intense live set and British artist Jane Fitz will offer an eclectic mix of trippy house and hypnotic techno.

On Saturday, German DJ Helena Hauff will perform her tracks inspired by acid house, Electronic Body Music (EBM) and industrial music.

On the same day, Japanese artist Yousuke Yukimatsu will headline the line-up. He has taken the international club scene by storm with his high-energy sets, which unapologetically blend genres such as metal, Japanese electronica and the work of pop icons such as Billie Eilish.

Yukimatsu's breakthrough came after a viral set for Boiler Room in 2024, which has been viewed millions of times since. His rise is particularly remarkable as he only began his full-time DJ career at the age of 46, after a serious illness.

Festival-goers will also enjoy sets from other figures on the electronic scene, such as Berlin dancefloor king Patrick Mason, Antwerp's Pegassi, German DJ Rodhad and Brussels' Zouzibabe.

This year, the organisers have introduced several new features, such as redesigned routes and a modified layout to improve traffic flow.

The festival site is accessible from midday by public transport, bicycle and a paid shuttle service from several cities in Belgium. The programme will continue into the early hours of the morning with after-parties at Fuse.
