Sunny weather is expected for the rest of Friday afternoon, with temperatures reaching around 31°C, according to the latest forecasts from the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).

It will be particularly hot in the Campine and Gaume regions (30-31°C) and the centre of the country (28-30°C), while the Ardennes will remain cooler with maximum temperatures of 24-25°C. The wind will be light to moderate.

A partly cloudy evening will give way to low clouds moving in from the North Sea during the night, with mist and even fog in some areas. Only the east and south of the country are expected not to be affected.

The temperatures are expected to drop to 14-15°C in the high Ardennes, 16-18°C in the centre, and 19°C on the coast.

On Saturday morning, the whole country will be grey and overcast, except for the south. Clear spells will gradually return in the afternoon, with much lower maximum temperatures than the previous day, ranging from 20 to 27°C.

Sunday will be grey again in the morning. It will clear up in the afternoon, except in the north of the country. Maximum temperatures will range from 18 to 25°C. In the centre, it will warm up to 22°C.
