Four young people were killed on Saturday when their car, driven by a 16-year-old teenager, veered off the road and collided with a tree. The accident occurred in Kürten, North Rhine-Westphalia.
The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The victims were two girls aged 14 and 16 and two boys aged 19.
The car involved in the accident belonged to the driver's parents. For unknown reasons, the car left the road on a bend, hit a tree and overturned. All four young people died at the scene.
