Antwerp’s Bollekesfeest drew more than 200,000 visitors this weekend, offering live music, local beer, and a feast of culinary delights.

The festival featured performances by 30 live bands and DJs, complemented by an extensive selection of food and drinks. Over the course of the three-day event, an impressive 600 kegs of the iconic local beer, Bolleke, were served.

The celebrations kicked off on Friday with a summer aperitif event at the Grote Markt, attracting around 5,000 attendees. Antwerp’s city council members participated by tapping more than 50 kegs of Bolleke.

The festivities continued on Saturday and Sunday, with live performances by artists such as MAKSIM, Sam Gooris, Sylver, and 2 Fabiola at the Grote Markt and Groenplaats.

“Bollekesfeest is no longer just a simple folk festival. It has become an unmissable tradition,” said Antwerp mayor Els van Doesburg (N-VA). “For three days, the streets of Antwerp come alive with joy, music, friendship, and fun.”

The event concludes on Sunday evening with a communal sing-along session, 'Vlaanderen Zingt.'
