A sea of colours will take over Brussels' Cinquantenaire Park this weekend for the Colour Bang festival.
The event, taking place on 30-31 August, takes inspiration from Holi – the major Hindu festival, known for people throwing coloured powder and waters.
Revellers can expect DJ sets, dancing, food trucks, surprise activities and play areas for children. People of all ages are welcome, even if children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Entry is free, and coloured powders will available for purchase on site at affordable prices. All powder brought in from outside is not permitted for safety reasons.
Attendees are invited to wear white or other lighter colours which can bring out the colours. While the powder washes out easily, organisers underline that it is advised not to wear your best or most delicate clothes.
