Shots were fired in the Brussels municipality of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean on Wednesday evening, the Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office reported on Thursday morning. No injuries were reported.
It is currently not known who fired the shots.
"Around 04:00, shots were fired on Rue Edmond Van Cauwenbergh in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean," said Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Laura Demullier.
"No injuries were reported, but police found bullet casings and bullet impacts in the facade of a house. A ballistics expert and the federal judicial police lab were called to the scene to make the necessary observations," she said.
An investigation is ongoing, including the identification of the suspects.
