A homemade firebomb was thrown at the front door of an apartment building in the Antwerp district of Hoboken on Saturday morning at 7:00, according to local police.
No one was injured in the incident. Police have launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators.
Authorities are also working to determine whether the attack is connected to Antwerp’s drug underworld.
Firebomb attacks on homes are a common retribution tactic used by drug dealer gangs from Antwerp and Rotterdam.
