Belgium's debt continues to climb, reaching over €537 billion

Belgium’s federal debt has reached €537.13 billion, marking an increase of €3.47 billion compared to the last report end of July, the Debt Agency confirms.

In net terms, after deducting investments and securities held in the portfolio, the debt rose by €3.79 billion, bringing the total to €524.622 billion.

The net funding requirement also amounted to €3.79 billion, impacting the Treasury.
