The body of a man was found on Monday in the River in Ledeberg, a district of Ghent, according to the East Flanders Public Prosecutor’s Office.
An investigation has been launched, but the victim’s identity and the cause of death remain unknown.
Emergency services recovered the body around 11:30 near Meierij Park.
