Traffic on tram line 7 in Ixelles has resumed between the Longchamp and Roffiaen stops, Brussels transport operator STIB-MIVB reported.

Tram traffic on the line had been interrupted after a tram derailed on Adolphe Buyllaan in Ixelles and its pantograph malfunctioned.

The incident does, however, still have consequences for other Brussels public transport lines. Tram line 8 is still not running between the Legrand and Boondaal Station stops, and tram line 25 remains suspended between the Roffiaen and Boondaal Station stops.

Bus line 71 is also still being diverted between Géo Bernier and Ixelles Cemetery.
