One of the most wanted criminals in Europe has been arrested in Spain, Spanish authorities confirmed to Belga news agency on Saturday.
The criminal had a European arrest order issued by Slovenia for trafficking 300 kg of heroin into the country, and was listed on Europol’s most wanted fugitives list.
The police has not released the person’s identity yet.
According to Spanish authorities, the man lived with his family in a wealthy neighbourhood in Sant Vicenc de Montait, north-west of Barcelona. He faces a 10 year prison sentence.
