Sunday morning’s grey skies will give way to beautiful bouts of sunny weather in the afternoon, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute, IRM, Belga News Agency reports.

While the northern part of the country will experience low clouds, mist or fog in the morning, the Ardennes will be sunny from the morning hours onward, the IRM forecasts.

In the afternoon, the entire country will gradually enjoy sunny weather, sometimes broken by a few residual cloud formations.

Highs will range between 11 degrees on the coast, 16 or 17 degrees in the centre of the country and 18 degrees in Gaume.

The wind will be slight to moderate, blowing in from the northeast.

On Sunday evening and in the early hours of the night, the skies will first be starry to a bit cloudy, after which cloud banks will form, especially in the north and centre of the country and in the Ardennes valleys. Temperatures will fall to between 0 and +5 degrees.

On Tuesday, the weather will be colder and the skies cloudier, with the possibility of some showers, the IRM forecasts.

On Wednesday, a rain front will move into the south, making the air significantly cooler throughout the country.
