An explosion occurred outside a house on Square du Centenaire in Ganshoren during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, Brussels firefighters have confirmed.
"Our teams were called out at around 00:30," firefighters' spokesperson Walter Derieuw said.
"When we arrived, the fire had already been extinguished. There was significant damage to the front door of the property, but no one was injured."
Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
