Belgium is being blessed with another bright spell of warm and sunny weather this weekend, with temperatures potentially reaching 28°C on Sunday in Brussels.

The skies will remain sunny on Saturday afternoon, with highs ranging between 18°C and 19°C in the Ardennes Heights and 23°C or 24°C in most other regions, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM), Belga News Agency reports.

The wind will be slight, blowing in changing directions.

In the evening, the skies will first be clear, but during the night more high-altitude and medium-altitude clouds will drift in from the west, although the weather will generally remain dry.

Lows will drop to between 6°C in Hautes Fagnes and 12°C in the plains. During the night, the wind will be slight, blowing from east to southeast, then moderate in some areas, later on.

Sunny Sunday

On Sunday, broad patches of clear sky will alternate with a few cloud concentrations. There will be a low risk of localised showers, especially in the west, but the weather will remain dry in most of the regions. The chances of rain, and occasionally heavy showers in some areas, will increase significantly, especially in the evening and overnight.
