One person was injured in a shooting in the early hours of Monday in the Brussels municipality of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, according to Brussels West police.
Officers were called to Avenue Jean Dubrucq, where they found a victim who had been shot in the lower leg around midnight.
The victim was taken to hospital and was not in a life-threatening condition.
Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of that shooting, but no suspects have been arrested so far.
The incident took place just a few hours before a shooting in Saint-Gilles, where one person was also injured.
